Candidates from the following countries are eligible for scholarships under the CSLA programme: Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Cambodia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Laos, Libya, Burma, Republic of Congo, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan
Eligible fields of study: communications, journalism and media, culture, history and society, development studies, economics, management, education, environment and natural resource management, gender studies, human rights, international relations, public health and health management, public policies and administration, social work and social policy
The following fields of study are not eligible:
- Business, administration and management
- Engineering Studies
- Foreign language teaching
- Finance
- Medical Sciences
- Science
