New support to projects driven by French and African higher education and research institutions
The call for proposals of the “Academia Partnerships Africa-France” (PeA in French) programme, formerly “Partnerships with African higher education” is open until 6 May 2025. With a 15 million euros overall funding, the new version plans to fund five to six additional projects.
“Bienvenue en France” certification: 158 institutions certified
158 institutions are now certified with the “Bienvenue en France” certification. Congratulations to the laureates.
European Research Council Synergy Grants: 13 projects for France
The European Research Council (ERC) has just released the list of 57 laureate teams of the Synergy Grants call for projects 2024. As part of the Horizon Europe programme for research and innovation, The ERC selected 57 projects involving 201 researchers working in 24 countries, totalling 571 million euros. Among projects designed to foster high-level scientific collaboration, France won 13, with 10 including researchers from the CNRS.
