The present terms of use (hereinafter “TOU”) provide a legal framework for the terms and conditions of the website https://www.campusfrance.org/fr (hereinafter “Website") and services offered by Campus France, and define the guidelines for the user (hereinafter “User") that accesses and uses our services.

The present TOU can be found in the “Terms of Use” section of the Website.

By signing up for or using the Website, the User accepts the present TOU unconditionally and without reservation.

If the User does not accept the present TOU, they relinquish their right to access the services offered on the Website.

LIABILITY

Campus France agrees to make every possible effort to ensure the Website is available to Users at all times. However, Campus France shall not be held liable in the event that the Website is unavailable for any reason whatsoever.

The User of the Website acknowledges having read the present TOU and agrees to comply with them.

The User acknowledges being in possession of the necessary means and skills to access and use the Website and acknowledges having verified that their computer and hardware are virus-free and in perfect working order.

Campus France cannot guarantee that the information published on the Website is accurate or complete, or that the Website is always functioning properly or totally secure.

Campus France agrees to make every possible effort to provide Users with available and authenticated tools and information but shall not be held liable for errors, missing information, and/or the presence of viruses.

The User accepts full responsibility for any of the tools and information they use on the Website.

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Campus France may collect and process the personal data of Users wishing to access the Website. This data is mainly collected by way of the registration form, cookies, and any other form on the Website.

Campus France is required to collect your personal data in order to process your inquiries and your application with Campus France. Personal data is processed primarily by the relevant departments of Campus France, and when necessary, by our service providers and subcontractors.

Users have, within the limitations imposed by applicable data protection regulations, the right to query, access, rectify, delete, or object (on legitimate grounds) to the processing of their personal data. We may ask that you provide a copy of your ID if we have a doubt regarding your identity.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Website as a whole, as well as each of its individual elements (e.g. specific programs and developments and content such as data, text, still and animated images, logos, sounds, graphics, files, etc.) are the exclusive property of Campus France or third parties who have granted Campus France a license. Any full or partial reproduction of the Website or any of its individual elements without the permission of Campus France is prohibited and would be considered an act of forgery punishable by Articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

All database data appearing on the Website is protected by Articles L.341-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code. Any substantial reuse or extraction of this data, in terms of quality or quantity, is punishable by law.

All brands and logos appearing on the Website are the registered trademarks of Campus France or third parties. Any full or partial reproduction, imitation, or use of these unique features without express permission or in violation of Articles L.713-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code is punishable by law.

All other unique features, in particular the corporate names, logos, slogans, trade names, banners, and domain names reproduced on the Website, are the property of Campus France or third parties, and any reproduction of these features without express permission is likely to be seen as copyright infringement punishable by Articles 1240 and 1241 of the French Civil Code.

LINKS

Campus France shall not be held liable for the terms of access and content of the links that are offered to third-party websites.

Users may not create a deep link to the Website without the prior written permission of Campus France.

MOBILE APPLICATIONS

IMMERSION FRANCE

“Immersion France” is a mobile app for international students wishing to study in France. It provides a catalog of language centers and helps the User choose an appropriate program.

The “Contact the Establishment” form allows the User to contact their selected language center directly.

“Kiosque Campus France” is an application developed by Campus France for higher education professionals. It explores higher education, international mobility in the various countries of the world (in particular France), and the missions of Campus France.

COOKIES

The User is hereby informed that, while browsing the Portal, cookies may be automatically placed in the User's browser.

Cookies are small files temporarily stored on the User's computer hard drive by the browser. They are necessary in order to use the Portal, and they save information for future Portal use. A cookie contains a unique identifier that is randomly generated and thus anonymous. Some cookies expire at the end of the User's visit, while others remain.

When the User first logs into the Portal, the User is informed of the various types of cookies that may be placed in the User's browser. The User is invited to select the cookies that the User wants or doesn't want to see placed in the browser. In short, the User must give consent in order for certain cookies to be used.

If the User refuses certain cookies, the User will be informed that some features or pages may not be accessible.

The User can disable these cookies with the cookie management tool, located at the bottom of the Portal page under the "Gestion des services".

GENERAL PROVISIONS

The fact that Campus France has not required the temporary or permanent enforcement of any of the clauses in these TOU does not in any way mean that a clause shall be waived.

The present TOU do not offer any guarantee or exclusivity with regard to the provision of services by Campus France.

Despite the care that has been taken to draft the content of the Website, errors and omissions can still occur. The present TOU therefore offer no guarantee with regard to the Website’s content, which we encourage you to verify. If you have a doubt, please feel free to contact us at contact@campusfrance.org.

In the event that one of the clauses of the present TOU is annulled by an applicable legal or regulatory provision and/or a judicial decision having the force of res judicata, it shall be deemed invalid without affecting the other clauses, which will remain fully valid.

A new clause may replace the clause that is deemed invalid, provided the new clause retains the substance and the economic impact of the annulled clause as much as possible.

MODIFICATIONS

Campus France reserves the right to modify the content of the present TOU at any time and without prior notice. The User is therefore urged to consult it regularly.

APPLICABLE LAW

The present TOU are governed by French law.
