Each portrait traces the student's journey from his or her country to France, within their establishment and until the completion of their professional goals. Twenty alumni volunteered to carry a simple message: "I chose to study in France, what about you?".
Born and raised in the Arabian desert, Turki Ayed chose the city of Lille, in northern France, to study toward a degree in food quality and distribution. The challenges facing the agrifood industry are of major importance to him because of the industry's growth potential in his country and region.
He chose to come to France because he admires the expertise that France and Europe hold in the food industry. Turki Ayed wants to take the best of the French model and export it into Saudi Arabia.
