Since May 1st 2021, the deadlines to submit your request for the renewal of a “student” residence permit have changed. Requests must be submitted between the 2nd and 4th of the month prior to the end of validity of your permit.

New deadlines to request the renewal of your residence permit

Since May 1st 2021, the deadlines to submit your request for the renewal of a “student” residence permit have changed. From now on, such requests must be submitted between the 2nd and 4th of the month prior to the end of validity of your permit. After this deadline, the renewal request filed will be admittable up to 6 months after the validity date, but a delay tax of 180 euros will be applied.

For example: let’s say your residence permit expires on September 1st, 2021. Submit your renewal request between May 1st and July 1st, 2021.
