Speech by Jean-Yves Le Drian at the Rencontres Campus France
French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian spoke on the last day of the France Rencontres Campus France 2020 (Campus France Meetings), which this year coincides with the first day of the General Assembly of the signatories of the “Etudes en France” (Studies in France) convention.
Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, spoke at the Rencontres Campus France (Campus France Meetings) on Wednesday 18 November 2020, on the last day of this event, which this year coincides with the first day of the General Assembly of the signatories of the “Studies in France” convention. He addressed in a video message the 350 participants, representatives of higher education institutions, diplomatic posts and Campus France Offices.
The Minister reaffirmed France's determination to continue to welcome international students despite the current health crisis. He praised the commitment and dynamism of Campus France in working together with diplomatic posts and higher education institutions to enhance France's influence and attractiveness.

Organised by Campus France, in association with the Erasmus + France Agency and in consultation with the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the 19th edition of the Rencontres Campus France took place from 16 to 18 November 2020.
This three-day event brings together 500 representatives of French higher education institutions and representatives of diplomatic posts and Campus France Offices. This new edition of the Rencontres Campus France puts the spotlight on Europe in a new, entirely digital format.
