The French government has implemented several actions to efficiently fight the Covid-19 epidemic.

 

  • Since 24 January 2022, the “Passe Vaccinal” (“Vaccine Certificate” in French) is mandatory to access specific places, locations or events, whether inside or outside;
  • The vaccine pass is mandatory to access specific places, locations or events, whether inside or outside;

  • Vaccination is open to everybody over 5 years old;

  • A booster shot is available three months after your last shot or Covid-19 infection since December 28;

  • Wearing a mask is mandatory in all places with public;

  • Barrier measures must thoroughly be followed.

Higher education institutions

 

  • French higher education institutions organise classes with the maintained objective of 100% classes onsite in classroom sessions

  • It is highly recommended to stay in touch with your training institution and stay updated about information published by emails, on the institutions websites and official social media; 

 


Health recommendations: protect yourself and others


To tackle the coronavirus, simple gestures and behaviour will help you protect your health and others’:

  • Wash your hand frequently
  • Cough or sneeze in your elbow or in a disposable tissue
  • Use disposable tissues and bin them
  • No handshakes, no hugs
  • Wear a mask outside and inside when the one-meter distance cannot be respected

In case of symptoms (coughing, fever) possibly related to the Covid-19: stay home, avoid all contacts, call a physician before attending or call the care duty number or your region. You can also benefit from teleconsultation. If your symptoms get worse with breathing difficulty and choking symptoms, call the SAMU-Centre 15.
