A support and assistance service for students: the International Office
Every year, the Université de Lorraine welcomes more than 9,500 international students to its various courses.
The International Office of the International and European Relations Department specialises in providing support for all international students in Lorraine.

It offers you :
- a personalised welcome in French and English
- on our premises, by e-mail, telephone and video-conference
- help with settling in and staying in Lorraine
Information on student life and practicalities
- To help you settle in, before you leave, on your arrival and during your stay in Lorraine, accommodation, insurance, grants and financial aid, social cover, working as a student in France, etc.

- An online support platform (Feel-Français) is offered free of charge to all international students at the Université de Lorraine: this platform, available in French and English, enables you to obtain information and carry out all the essential procedures before your arrival at Ul and until your departure.
- UL PREP'S DAY: In June and July, the Accueil International de l'Université de Lorraine offers a series of webinars (in French and English) presenting the essential steps you need to take to prepare for your stay in France: budget, accommodation, visa, compulsory insurance, etc.

- A Welcome Desk is available all year round, in our offices, by videoconference, e-mail or telephone, to help you with the online formalities (CVEC, visa validation, social security affiliation, residence permit application, housing assistance application, etc.).

- Help with formalities for staying in France: information on the procedure for applying for a residence permit or validating your visa, by email, telephone, face-to-face interview or videoconference by appointment: https://rdv.univ-lorraine.fr/international/

- Special contacts and partnerships with a wide range of student services to help you settle in Lorraine: Lo, CPAM, CAF, Préfectures, student associations, student health and social services, etc.
