Open Days: information, meetings and sharing

A day to find all useful information

Every year at the start of the academic year, Campus France Agency welcomes in its premises the international scholarship holders of the Île-de-France region receiving follow-up by Campus France during their stay. Some 200 holders of scholarships from the French government and foreign governments participated in the day. They had the opportunity to find information about the processes to complete at their arrival, how to complete and receive residence permits, how the care pathway works and discover services made available by partners and associations, explained by themselves: CPAM, April international, CAF, Préfecture de Paris, Quartier Jeunes, Maison étudiante de Paris, Centre d’animation du 10e arrondissement (CRL 10), ESN, Nightline, Carte Jeunes Européenne.

A day to meet

Open days are also an opportunity for scholarship holders to meet the Campus France teams and their direct contacts in charge of following up their stay in France, which is always a long-expected and appreciated moment. Events such as the Bingo of Friendship, a participants’ best, allow students to meet up. They also had the opportunity to register directly on France Alumni and join in a few clicks the 520,000 members of the network and the professional opportunities provided by the platform.

A day for sharing

The postal card workshop, a new event, met clear success. Many students had the pleasure to write to their families to announce their arrival and give their first impressions as international students in France. And this day couldn’t end without the traditional cocktail party, a time as rich, friendly and festive as always. 

Throughout the year, Campus France will invite scholarship holders to participate, in Paris, other regions or online, in reception and integration events, and provide all useful information to spend a good time in France.
