“French+Sciences” programme: new sessions opened in 2024
The “French+Sciences” programme developed by Campus France in cooperation with centres of French as Foreign Language (FLE in French), the diplomatic posts and the Campus France Offices, are a new way of attracting international students. New sessions are open for the year 2024.
Bringing value to the French technological know-how by overcoming language barrier
The creation of the “French+Sciences” programme answers an objective of attractiveness of English-speaking students registered in scientific and technologic universities, even if they are beginners in French.
Sessions available as part of the “French+Sciences” programme aim to bring value to the French technological knowledge and the excellence of scientific training courses. In the majority, they are taught in English – but with a FLE component: the objective is to overcome the language barrier, so students negatively impacted by the need to learn French beforehand might not “choose France”, and continue their higher studies later.
Ground-breaking themes in relation with current challenges
Short stays of 3-4 weeks focus on a specific theme and companies internationally recognised in the economic area of the region of implementation of FLE centres which are partners of the programme, all referenced as “Label qualité FLE” (FLE quality certified) Focus on sustainable development in Montpellier and Accent français, Science and technology of the sea for Ciel Bretagne, Micro , nano & smart technologies for industrial applications with the CLA of Besançon, Focus on transport & energy with French in Normandy in Rouen, Focus on Mountain Science with Accents in Chambéry.
All sessions enable the validation of ECTS credits.
