CROUS OF PARIS
Reception structure
The International Service of the Crous de Paris is dedicated to international students from Parisian higher education establishments such as:
- scholarship recipients from the French government or a foreign government
- students participating in interuniversity and Erasmus exchanges
- students out of exchange programs
Proposed services
Throughout the year, the Crous de Paris international service team welcomes, guides and informs international students on various subjects such as financial aid, access to accommodation, social aid and health.

WELCOME DESK - PARIS SCIENCES & LETTRES

Are you an international student or researcher and do you have a multitude of questions about Parisian life, the functioning of Université PSL and the administrative formalities? The PSL Welcome Desk is there to guide you, advise you and support you throughout your stay at PSL University.
Proposed services
The PSL University Welcome Desk welcomes and supports all international PSL students and researchers.
Although each public has specificities, the general missions of the Welcome Desk are:
Help, advise and guide you through administrative procedures to facilitate arrival and life in Paris and PSL.
Contribute to socio-cultural integration.
Listen and refer to the relevant departments when the Welcome Desk cannot respond to requests suche as:
- The necessary administrative procedures before arrival in France and during the stay;
- Validation and renewal of the residence permit;
- Registration with the French Health Insurance;
- Finding accommodation;
- Insurance and opening a bank account;
- The file to apply for CAF allowances (such as housing assistance);
- Access to the offer of French as a foreign language (FLE);
- Integration into Parisian and university life (associative life, sponsorship program, language exchange, cultural activities, support for family members in the case of researchers);
- Putting you in touch with the other services of the University - transport, etc.
Dates and times
The service is open all year round. It welcomes from Monday to Friday preferentially by appointment.
A “hotline” service (online meeting) is available during the University’s annual closure (early August).
