A reception was organised to celebrate the 52 scholarship holders of the first cohort of the France Excellence Europa programme on Tuesday 29 November 2022 during the Rencontres Campus France at the Cité internationale Universitaire de Paris (CIUP).

 

 

A reception to celebrate the first corhort of scholarship holders of France Excellence Europa

Campus France has organised a reception to celebrate the first cohort of the France Excellence Europa programme on Tuesday 29 November 2022. The event was held in the Fondation Deutsch de la Meurthe, the first house built in the Cité internationale Universitaire de Paris (CIUP) in the presence of representatives of the ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, higher education institutions and embassies of France of the European Union.

During the festive and friendly event, laureates received for their selection the congratulations of Donatienne Hissard, Director-General of Campus France, and Mathieu Peyraud, Director of the diplomacy of influence of the ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs that finances a brand-new programme of excellence. Scholarship holders who attend training courses in higher education institutions spread all over the national territory also had the opportunity to meet and share their experience in France since their arrival in September.

France Excellence Europa: the laureates’ story

Guillermo Macias Alcazar (Spain), Artemis Angelidou (Greece), Michal Trajanowski (Greece) and Lia-Christina Popescu (Romania) are the laureates of the France Excellence Europa programme. France Excellence Europa: a new programme for talents of the European Union

Funded by the ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and managed by Campus France, France Excellence Europa is a new scholarship programme launched during the French presidency of the European Union, and directed towards the students of Member States. The program grants a scholarship for a 12 to 24 months duration based on criteria of academic excellence to study in France to obtain a Master’s degree in one of the following fields: Culture & Heritage, Education, Pedagogy, French Language and Civilization, Foreign Languages and Civilizations and European Studies, Health, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science and Digital science.

The first cohort of scholarship holders selected boasts 52 laureates from 21 countries of the European Union.
